Spring Onion

Spring onions are young and tender vegetables from the onion family. They feature a small, distinct white or light red bulb at the base and long, hollow, dark green tubular leaves. While similar to scallions, true spring onions have a slightly more developed, plump little bulb and a sweet, mellow flavor.
